About Seven Lakes Lacrosse
Coach O'Hara with Syracuse Head Coach John Desko
Seven Lakes Lacrosse is the only Division I men's high school program in the Katy, Texas area, playing in the Texas High School Lacrosse League.
Students from Seven Lakes High School and Tompkins High Schoolas well as some from Saint John XXIII are eligible to play for Seven Lakes Lacrosse and there may be circumstances where students that don't attend these schools are also eligible.
The coaching staff at Seven Lakes has a tremendous lacrosse background from diverse areas across the country, including upstate New York (Syracuse), Ohio, Colorado and Texas. This coaching experience combined with the enthusiasm from the players and support from our fans are helping to make Seven Lakes competitive in Houston's high school lacrosse league.
Women's NCAA D1 Game
Marquette vs. Johns Hopkins D1 women's lacrosse game
On Sunday, February 8th the first D1 women's lacrosse game will be held in Houston featuring Johns Hopkins and Marquette. Game starts at noon at the UH Carl Lewis Field. Admission is $5 and there is a free clinic and autograph session.
This is a great opportunity to watch Division 1 lacrosse in our backyard. Maybe one day we'll get a men's game again (like Coach Platt used to host a few years ago).
Level 1 and Level 2 clinics are coming to Houston the weekend of February 14th and 15th. Clinics are to be held at St. Francis Episcopal Day School, which is central to most on this email list. Level 1 is on Saturday and Level 2 is on Sunday. You have to do an online component for both courses so make sure you do not forget that. I've attached the link to register for the Level 1 clinic below. I know some are considering taking both clinics that weekend and I think that's great. I am planning to attend the Level 2 clinic on Sunday.
